Carrigain

Hiked Carrigain on 11/14/14. It was peak number 523 for “The Grid over 60”. Sawyer River Road was still open so I was able to drive to the Signal Ridge trailhead avoiding the 2 additional miles of roadwalk. There was one other car in the parking lot. There was a light dusting of snow on the trail at the start and maybe 2 inches near the summit.

Once I reached Signal Ridge there were very good views although the higher peaks were in the clouds.

Once on the summit I climbed the tower to take some pictures. It was windy on the tower but still able to take some pictures.

Found a small snowfish on the way down.

Only 53 peaks left to finish “The Grid over 60”.
