Tom, Field and Willey

Hiked Tom, Field and Willey on 9/12/14. Peaks 502, 503 and 504 for “The Grid over 60”. The forecast was for clear skies but that didn’t happen as the summits were in the clouds all day, they did clear out after I was done hiking. I guess I should have started later. I was interested to see how the trail work that was starting back in July was progressing on the Avalon trail. It looks like it is all done.

There was quite a bit of Clintonia or the Blue Bead Lily along the trail.

No views today from any of the summits but there was some interesting lighting because the clouds were right down into the forest.

There were also quite a few mushrooms out.

Only 72 peaks left to finish “The Grid over 60”.
